First comes the excitement

Blocking out all noise

Blood begins to rush

Thud one, thud two

Rep after rep after rep

Set after set

One harder than the last

Then come emotions

Loneliness, joy, depression

And above all ANGER

ANGER at those who

Left you, belittled you, even loved you

Visions of faces mocking you

Verbally attacking you

Pain takes over anger

Thud six, thud seven

Exhaustion washes over you

Peace, acceptance, and forgiveness

Replace your discontented emotions

Exercise is more than a hobby

More than a bragging right

Exercise is my Outlet
