Too Far to Love

Have you ever loved someone that seemed so far,

That if you held her, she’d be your moon and stars,

Your love so high, that you couldn’t bear to see her cry,

A woman to care for until the end of time.

Have you ever loved a woman that brought warmth to your heart,

She was the apple of your eye, perfect in every part,

Her eyes would glisten will a radiant hue,

If you ever got sick, she’d be the medicine to your flu.

She was a girl who was so far away,

That made your heart pound and you thought of her everyday,

But you knew she was beyond your reach,

She left you in awe with no words in speech.

But all you can do is hope the best for her,

Until your mind forgets and it’s all a blur.
